Colleen Posted November 1, 2023 Share Posted November 1, 2023 I had my SAH due to ruptured aneurysm the morning of Saturday, November 1, 2008. Seems a lifetime ago. Sometimes seems like last week. For all the short-term survivors out there, take heart. It does get better with time as the brain heals and the body learns to compensate. Mine is 17 yrs now and yes, there are days when it feels like yesterday - but there are also days when I can almost forget it happened at all.
