Liz, Forgive me for laughing at your reply...but I was like you also do not remember anything.....and if what I dreamt is true..Sorry Nurses ! ! I saw a Railway man coming up to me and told him he is not putting any tubes into me....Don't ask me why a Railway man ! Then when I got ventriculitus, I remember telling the Nurses "You hurt me and I am telling my Mum, Dad and my Doctor" I must have been a pain lol My Sister used to come and sing to me with my sister in law...We used to have a sing song poor other patients..... It was hard for my family but I was oblivious of what went on around me......and I only know rude songs ..lol Keep happy Liz and All and Sharon chin up xx Love WinB143 xx

Hi Sharon, Sorry to hear about your Mum....I had SAH in July 09..I was away with the fairies most of the time.....Stay by your Mum...she needs you like I needed my daughter..Now we argue just as we always did lol......Keep smiling and watch your Mum...you are worried about her . ..remember it's natural.....my daughter argued with nurses but in a nice way about me not seeming right in myself...Hope your Mum gets well soon and you two can have a heated debate just like my daughter and I do..Keep smiling and all will be well for you all .....I kept swearing and singing..mind you my Dad taught me rude songs when young ..lol Oh also I had shunt fitted in 210 thats when I started getting back to some normality, still get forgetful but mostly ok People on here will help you ..Great Lot xx All my Best to You and Your Mum Love WinB143 xx

I had MRI .....awaited for telecall or post...no reply either way....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh My hubby called hospital....Surgeon's sec said " I'll look into it"......now on hols how dare they take a holiday lol I think if something was up they would get back to me immediately..I hope !! Hi Bill, Yes it did help to see my family...not so scared of dying now..well still scared but not as much...(understand?) Welcome Bill, After my SAH in 2009 and my shunt in 2010....I remember only passing out in 2009 then living with my parents and my brother who sang to me...both my parents and Brother have been dead for over 10 years approx...but we had a good sing song like in the olden days....apart from my Mum not talking to me she kept pointing to my daughter and hubby....Then after the shunt I was told what had happened to me and slowly I am recovering..Slow and 1 day at a time.... The hospital wanted me in a home .. .But thanks to my daughter,hubby and family They never gave up on me You are doing well Bill..so keep smiling and singing.....and do not let anything get to you...We are Alive ..yeahhhhh smile Love WinB143 xxx

All I can say about it is when I left hospital after Coiling they gave me MRI ..then after shunt I had MRI ...and I saw Surgeon this year and he said to make appointment for another MRI but he didn't think I'd really need it..but to put my mind at ease.....still not had results yet Waiting is horrid.......Becoming paranoid lol Cheer up you will be ok Regards WinB143

If I hadn't got the words thingy and whatsitsname in my vocabulary I'd be stuck......I cannot remember the supermarket Sainsbury's......My family say to me "go on you will get it".....I call it the orange shop as it has orange signs and trollies.. When I went to Hydro my Hydroman got me balancing on one leg.....I thought I was good but toppled into him..and I am no light weight ........good job the water made me lighter lol Felt achey after Hydro but did more work and less talking (makes a change) !! Love to All of You WinB143 xx

Michelle, I had mine a few weeks back...kept eyes shut and it was over so quickly...I never had time to fall asleep . . plus the noise was only a clonking sound.... and the men chatting....... They say us women can talk..lol Honestly it will be okay trust me as I am afraid of everything..and the MRI was a Glen Hoddle = Doddle The worst thing was the queue in the cafe after ...Do not let it worry you just relax and try not to worry , or snore lol Love WinB143 xx
