Hi Diane so pleased for you both...the others have said it all take care both...love Tina xx
  11. Hi Rod So sorry for your loss xx I have low blood pressure, but also had problems with my hearing. I was very noise sensitive and also felt just like Merrill. Mine was mainly due to my surgery....my ear was blocked with blood and anesthetic etc.... could not have mine syringed because of the pressure but they sucked it out...YUK!! But it was such a relief...i could hear again and it did not hurt anymore. It did take some time for my hearing to adjust back to normal....and i am still a bit deaf in my right ear. I think how Liz's GP explained it is perfect.....you have good days and bad days......ups and downs.....and just when you think you are doing great something else may happen...like the panic attacks. They came from nowhere, and scared me, as i am a very together get on and do it person.....but i did get through it, with the support of all the lovely friends here. Wise words from Karen....you really do have to take each day as it comes...and not be too hard on yourself. Take care Merrill and Rod Love Tina xx
  12. Great news Diane :-D xx
  13. Hi Diane....sorry Mark did not get home....hopefully very soon . I had headaches and pains for quite some time after.... mine was mainly at the back of my head, neck and right hand side...i think this is all part of the healing and depends where you had your bleed ..... i was in hospital for nearly six weeks. Wishing you both well...Take care love Tina xx

  15. Hi Helen No you are not nuts as the others have said.......like you i am not one for outbursts or self pity etc....but i too have on a couple of occasions, just burst into tears and ranted.......i think it is something you need to do. I dont know about you, but i keep alot inside, so when it does all come out, i think it is your body saying...right! enough....and then you stop....and can start again!....dont know if that makes any sense. Take care....we are here for you..love Tina xx

  21. Hi Would be nice to know your real name. Sadly it seems to be the case...no aftercare....job done and off you go....the emotional side alone is hard to deal with let alone the new you you have to accept and the general recovery. Still with time alot does improve...but very slowly. It is still very early days for you....i wish you well....keep your chin up....things will get better. Take care Love Tina xx
  22. Hi Diane a very warm welcome to you. Really hope all goes well with your husbands scan. As Karen has said....his symptoms are something that we all seem to suffer with. Wishing you both well...look forward to hearing more from you. Congratulations on qualifying as a nurse....hope you will be able to enjoy your graduation Take care Love Tina xx
  23. Hello and a very warm welcome to you. As Janet has said...so sorry you were treated so badly. I too was sent home saying i had a sick virus. Spent 3 days in bed being sick and in horrendous pain. A friend took me to A & E and luckily for me the Doctor there suspected a bleed and i was scanned. I then was transferred to Neuro and operated on 12 days later . Misdiagnosis seems to happen too often with SAH. Look forward to hearing more from you. Take care Love Tina xx
